I grew up in Houston, TX. I started school in Montessori, whose teaching style gave me a curious mind that hasn’t gone away since. I have always had an aptitude in math and science, sometimes exploring math topics online that were years ahead of my level. In high school, I often found myself helping others learn physics and calculus. It wasn’t long before I realized that explaining concepts to others helps further my understanding of certain topics. I like to cite this Einstein quote, “If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.” I am currently seeking a job or internship at an aerospace or mechatronics engineering firm, where I can contribute my organizational skills while learning from established professionals. While I am still early in my college career, I believe my mathematical and analytical skills can be valuable to any engineering internship.
