I am a fifth year behavioral ecology PhD candidate in the Hobson lab at the University of Cincinnati (expected graduation date: May 2025). My research focuses on investigating real time decision making in social groups across various social contexts and how group members use different types of social information to structure this real time decision making. Post graduation I intend to leverage the research and analytical skills gained over the course of my academic and work experiences to transition into the field of data science. These skills include: *Extensive experience in designing and executing large-scale complex research projects.*Extensive experience in communicating research/project results through team meetings, poster presentations, conference talks, and peer reviewed publications.*Proficiency in analyzing and wrangling large, complex data sets in R, MATLAB, and Python.*Extensive teaching experience having taught a wide breadth of lab courses (intro biology 1 & 2, anatomy & physiology, and analytical tools in R for undergraduates).*Extensive experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from a wide breadth of species in a variety of contexts (captive, semi-captive, wild) to inform both research and welfare decisions.
