Worked With a small team to design and build a rover using Arduino, that can be used to collect data for future space missions. We called this rover SEAR or (Space, Environment, Analysis, Rover). SEAR's main objective is to collect, analyze, and quantify data from different sources. The SEAR rover can detect different types of gasses in the atmosphere, temperature, humidity, use an arm to detect soil moisture, and has a camera to survey the area. The SEAR rover is completely unmanned, allowing it to scope out potentially hazardous areas. Using Bluetooth and wifi, we can collect the data from the rover thus allowing us to keep the rover isolated in uncharted land for some time. Using all the data collected we can determine whether the land is arable or not for plant life. The goal behind SEAR is to be able to send it to other planets and determine if agriculture is a possibility.

Under supervision of BGCMC staff, monitored summer program attendees in daily activities. Worked primarily with children in the second grade, focusing on STEM activities.Partnered with other Junior Staff members to supervise field trips. Modeled and enforced BGCMC routines and policies surrounding cleanliness and behavior.
