I am an ICT operations professional with more than 21 years of international experience. I work successfully with multicultural teams in Europe, Middle-East, Africa & USA. People often describe me as diplomatic, empathetic & hands-on. Over the last decade I successfully completed projects with a business focus on standardizing, simplifying and centralizing IT infrastructure & operations. EMEA, the region I look after, accounts for 1500+ end users spread over 18 office locations in 12 countries. As regional head of IT for Edelman, who are a leading global communications marketing firm helping business and organisations evolve, promote and protect their brands and reputations, I work closely with the global CIO & Corporate IT to align the technology strategy to the company’s business objectives. I'm committed finding the sweet spot between rolling out global IT initiatives and tailoring a nuance in those appropriately to adapt to the unique culture that we have across our markets to the laws, languages, needs & customs of the region.My focus lies on business partnering, M&A IT integrations (successfully managed 20+ acquisitions from IT due diligence to completion), coordinating start-ups, office expansions & re-locations, adhering to single vendor standards, project management and coordination.
