Was responsible for preparing patients prior to visits with physicians and maintaining steady flow and order to the daily clinic operation. This involved taking accurate patient vitals, documenting and reviewing pertinent information during patient visits, and assisting physicians with scribing. I also collected data for research in the office clinic, CathLab, and other clinical environments.

Worked alongside a graduate student mentor in laboratory work at the Sletten Group laboratory at UCLA to support her projects, while attending and presenting my research at laboratory meetings with our PI, Professor Ellen Sletten, and the others working at the lab. These projects included culturing cells for immune cell labeling experiments and making dye-filled nanoparticles for cell tracking experiments and in vivo imaging in mice. I also screened reactivity between short peptides and tetrazine compounds. My duties included setting up reactions and isolating and characterizing products using mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography, UV-vis spectrophotometry, and NMR.
