Duties and Responsibilities:- Perform month end and year end closing - Prepare corporate tax computation - Review of GST schedule and reconciliation- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports in accordance with management and group requirements - Analyse financial performance and reporting on variances- Preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets- Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements- Review work process to enhance efficiency and productivity- Ensure effective internal controls and compliance to comply policies, local accounting standards and regulations. - Liaise with government bodies, auditors and external parties on accounting matters

● Audit AR transactions (charges and refund) to ensure company policies and GAAP are strictly adhered● Monitor and verify the validity of AR account discrepancies by performing investigations on sales department, customer service department and guests● Reconcile bank, cash and credit card statements by using OPERA and Tyalls system● Resolve valid or authorised deductions including adjustment entries and chargebacks to customer account● Resolve invalid or unauthorised deductions by following pending deductions procedures● Resolve collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history and credit limits● Reconcile the AR receipts with AR aging prior to payment posting, and apply payments to past AR remittance or other various qualifiers● Generate financial reports using PeopleSoft Finance system in a timely manner (banking cash report, refund audit report, gratuity allocation report, daily revenue sheet report)● Maintain generic AR email box; emphasize on investigation and resolution of customer inquiries; providing invoices and other documents as requested● Process AR invoices using Synyati Spurwing Solution system and other documents such as chargeback and credit card authorisation form● Prepare past due aging reports and set up payment recovery schedules● Proficient in problem solving, negotiations, multi-tasking, and handling guest’s inquiries especially request for invoices and handle complicated guest dispute scenarios
