Excels in supplier relationship management. Develop and drive commodity strategies such as placeholder, DSI and sourcing strategies. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Coordinate among internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of supply andmaintain healthy inventory. Support global demand on time and prevent shortage, as well as acting quickly anddecisively to respond to changes in demand. Drive cross-functional teams to handle product quality issues, qualification issues, etc andwork on solutions and risk mitigation. Manage the inventory belonging to the commodity, responsible for aging inventorydepletion, E&O activities, EOQ inventory target and ensuring that LTA is met. Involved in supplier product roadmap design and support new product readiness andproduct transitions. Accountable for suppliers’ operational performance business review, management andnegotiation, provide feedback and drive for improvement. Lead representative for client SSD digital transformation initiative. Perform analyses to identify good opportunities for improving supply chain efficiency,effectiveness and reduce complexity. Represent procurement on product development team to ensure “design to value”analysis is done throughout product lifecycle. Identify supply chain risk and work to ensure risk mitigation plan is in place and improvesupply chain resilience against geopolitical issues, natural disasters, single source risk, etc. Show less
