About Xiaojing Yang

As a senior scientist and group leader at Zymo Research, I have over 10 years of experience in aging, cancer and epigenetics research, large scale data analysis, and translational medicine. My mission is to develop and commercialize innovative and reliable epigenetic tests for disease diagnosis, prognosis, and monitoring.I have contributed to the development and launch of two product lines based on DNA methylation: a bladder cancer monitor test and direct-to-consumer tests for biological age and health index. I have also developed a single tube highly multiplex target enrichment platform (SWARM®) that enables fast and accurate detection of epigenetic changes. My team's latest research interest is developing whole genome sequencing assays specfic for liquid biopsy. I enjoy working with a talented and diverse team of scientists and clinicians to advance the field of epigenetics and improve human health.
