My current role at Dexcom is PKI and Cybersecurity SME, providing guidance in PKI and general secrets management. Prior to that, I led to establish DHS Enterprise Non-person Entity (NPE) PKI using PrimeKey EJBCA on AWS GovCloud for two years and served as a PKI/ICAM SME at Department of Energy for 5 years. My responsibilities at DOE covered HSPD-12 PIV/PIV-I credentials, PKI technologies and operations, DOE ICAM initiatives and Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Phase 2 Credential Management, federation authentication and single-sign-on using products such as PingFederate service and Microsoft ADFS, and Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) implementation. I also had been a long-time senior software architect working for various companies (large and small) in different industries since 1994. I had been a primary technical contributor to GSA USAccess Program and directly involved in architecting and developing HSPD-12 identity management and credentialing systems for more than 12 years. With that, I possess strong technical skills coupled with the interpersonal and communication skills to both in-house development team and highly-demanded client-based users. My education background (4 years of undergraduate, 6 years of graduate, and 4 years of teaching in university) has further provided the foundation of my learning ability and strong technical expertise for past 25 years in service of commercial industries and US government agencies.
