Management of shop design subcontractor, communication with and design manager and other disciplines and PMT.

Drafting the Construction Execution Plan (CEP) which contains the following aspects:Construction method for the topside, hull, drilling rig modules, tendons, foundations and flare booms. Mating method for the topside and hull, assembling method for the flare boom and living quarter. Construction management and Organization, Constructability study, etc. Assisting the price engineer in writing inquiries to subcontractors and evaluating the price in special issues and assisting planer in setup of schedules.

200FT Self-elevating Drilling Rig / Structural Lead Engineer Client: COSL HYSY 921/922/923/924 Jack-up Drilling Rig Project contains 4 jack-ups, whose maximum working water depth is 69.6m.My main responsibility was to produce shop drawings and construction methods, to check and review all the calculation report of installation analysis. Also working as quality control engineer in the construction process of special items where special quality requirements were demanded, like Spucans, Legs, Jackcases and Cantilever Beam. Also working in terms of project management, such as monitoring subcontractors to make sure all the work was performed strictly according to the plan and quality requirements, helping the subcontractors with preparing as-required drawings, etc.
