As a research assistant at JILA at University of Colorado at Boulder, I developed soft x-ray light source at water window using ultrafast lasers for elemental specific bio imaging applications. As a research scientist at Kmlabs, I was in charge of the effort to prototype and commercialize our first Ti:sapphire regenerative amplifier product. Later, as a product manager, I led a team of scientists and engineers at our company to develop the state-of-art mechanical and optical platform for our company’s next generation turnkey ultrafast laser amplifier systems. Recently, I realized the great potential of our production laser systems in bio-medical industry. Now, I am in charge of obtaining research grant from NIH to expand our business intoBiomedical industry. My currently research interests include bio-imaging using ultrafast lasers and ultrafast laser therapy and surgery.

*Developed various algorisms for coherent-control experiments using adaptive optics.*Developed all-optical quasi phase matching technique to enhance the efficiency of the high harmonic generation in a hollow waveguide.
