This is Xinyang Li, and I recently graduated from the University of Chicago with a master’s degree in art history and curatorial studies. I have had experience working in multiple geographical areas. My emphasis has been on contemporary art, but learning about all kinds of art has greatly informed my understanding and practices. I am currently exploring painting, photography, social practices, and performance art. Going forward, I want to work on collaborative projects among institutions with different cultural histories and backgrounds. I believe in open communication, mutual trust, and truthfulness within art that can bring us to a common ground where people keep each other alive.
