• Provide bioinformatics and technical support on NGS software, hardware, services, reagents and workflows to external and internal customers• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade NGS software and Operating System (Torrent Suite, Ion Reporter, and Ubuntu OS) on sequencer and analysis servers, from customer onboarding through the long-term usage of the Ion Torrent NGS platform• Write customized bioinformatic plugin/script and help customers to build up bioinformatic pipelines and workflows, based on customer needs, in either local or cloud-based systems• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues customers raised during utilization of NGS bioinformatic software and services, sequencing reagents and instruments• Collaborate with global software support, R&D, and product manager to collect customer feedback, escalate problems, and submit new-feature requests on NGS software• Provide technical, pre- and post-sale training on NGS bioinformatic platforms, applications, workflows, and wet-lab operations to customers, technical and sales team• Assist sales team by providing technical advices, demos, evaluations and consultations on NGS software and wet-lab solutions to demonstrate the functionality of NGS platform during pre-sale process
