Developed, coordinated and delivered lectures and tutorials in Internet Communications, Web Engineering, Comparative Programming Languages, Information Visualisation and Computer Ethics, including off-shore and on-line delivery. Conducted research in Information Visualisation. Supervised 22 coursework project students in Web Engineering and Information Visualisation. Supervised 2 research students in Information Visualisation. Administrative duties: School Marketting Officer, Library Liaison Officer, International Student Mentor, and ACSW05 and 27ACCMCC organising committees.

Worked as part of a team developing software for the analysis and maintenance of large Web sites. Prototyped a major component of the software system. Worked both in-house (Adelaide) and telecommuting from home (Melbourne and Newcastle). Coauthored two patent applications. Researched in and advised on issues of algorithms and theoretical computer science.

Developed a novel classification algorithm for continuous data. Investigated the use of approximation in high-dimensional range queries. Implemented proof-of-concept software in C/C++. Conducted experimental evaluation of algorithms.
