Recent articles include reviews of a documentary about Susan Sontag, Patti Smith's arts festival in Rockaway, and Bryan Cranston's turn as LBJ on Broadway. Several of my articles for the Economist have focused on photography, such as Robert Capa's color photography exhibit at ICP, a multimedia survey of apartheid, also at ICP, and a survey of the work of Teenie Harris at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh.

Pieces for MIL include reviews of an art exhibit curated by Shaquille O'Neal, a documentary about a Palestinian rapper, and solo shows of photographers Chris Killip and Tina Modotti.

My stories for Urban Omnibus include three features: a personal and historical analysis of Rockaway and its future in the wake of Hurricane Sandy; an essay on the Progressive Era roots of the Carnegie Libraries in New York City, their legacy today, and the still vital role of the branch library in American cities; and most recently, a long look at the development of the New York City Farm Colony on Staten Island. Other pieces for UO include reviews of The Museum of the City of New York's show about the Manhattan Grid, which marked its 200th anniversary in 2011; the Drawing Center's exhibit of Paul Rudolph's drawings and plans for the Lower Manhattan Expressway; and the Guggenheim's stillspottingnyc program.

Worked with the Executive Office and Communications Team on all externally-facing written material. This required regular collaboration and coordination with all other teams at 100RC to ensure the content for each respective piece was appropriate and relevant. Because the organization is in 100 cities and 6 different continents, the writing needed to not only echo the voice of the speaker or writer, but engage the full range audiences which included donors, financial institutions, city leaders and other stakeholders from across the network, partners in the private, non-profit and academic sectors, and resilience practitioners. It also required regular monitoring of global policy and cultural currents and the ability to write compellingly about topics ranging from federal budget allocations, to economic and racial equity, to the most recent innovations in green infrastructure, to informal settlements, to global migration.

Wrote several articles for Artinfo, including one about art fraud that garnered wide-spread attention. (Other articles include a comprehensive look at the Holocaust Art Restitution Summit in Prague in 2009 and a story about the ground-breaking PS1-MoMA collaboration Rising Currents).

Assisted the founder of this new firm in establishing his practice. Responsibilities included research into industry trends, marketing and publicity, and client relations. Legal work consisted of legal research and drafting of memos.

Assisted Professor Michael Madow with research into questions of First Amendment and Media Law as well as Criminal Law. Assisted in the composition of a legal encyclopedia entry for the "Son of Sam Law."

Assisted the attorneys in the Rackets Bureau with every stage of a criminal prosecution, including initial investigations and second seating at trial.
