During this time, I worked in the sales and pricing department, where I developed my skills in sales and pricing of land transportation, sea transportation, and air transportation for both imports and exports. Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, I learned to balance the needs of customers with the financial goals of the company, while always maintaining a customer-centric approach. This experience has provided me with a deep understanding of logistics operations and a passion for delivering value-added services to customers. I had the opportunity to complete an Erasmus internship in an international logistics company based in Bucharest, Romania. During my time there, I gained valuable experience in all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, sales and pricing. Working alongside logistics experts from around the world, I developed my communication and collaboration skills, while also gaining a deeper understanding of cultural differences and their impact on logistics practices. As a long-term research intern at the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK), the country's largest and most prestigious research center, I had the privilege of contributing to the Turkish State Railway Logistics Centers Detail Feasibility and Business Model Analysis Project. This challenging and rewarding internship provided me with hands-on experience in conducting in-depth research and analysis, while working alongside experts in the field. Through my involvement in this project, I gained a deep understanding of logistics operations and the importance of detailed feasibility studies and business model analysis in successful logistics projects.
