Senior Clinical Quality Associate
I was promoted to this role inside athenahealth's Clinical Quality team as a recognition for my contribution towards 2 concurrent projects - leading the successful project transition from one geography to another and being instrumental in keeping clinical quality data ready for the year end submission. 1. 100% update of clinical quality measures before start of submission window • Physicians on our EHR network were dependent on our team for their clinical quality data and we had a lot of updates pending for release inorder to make the final data ready for submission. • I used my technical expertise in measure building to voice out dependencies on product limitations in a timely manner to coordinate priorities across cross-functional teams. • The effective management of stakeholder communications helped our team make critical business decisions to achieve our business goal of data readiness before the submission window. 2. End-to-end transition of “Customer Success” project to a new geography • There was a need to transition “Customer Success” - a project to manage questions, concerns and/or escalations from physicians, to our local team from the headquarters. • Based on recommendations from my manager, I traveled to our head office abroad to learn the new process, new tool (Salesforce), process guidelines and business goals. • I was able to succeed in internalizing the process and took charge of doing the knowledge transfer to my local team. I created training materials, conducted classroom training and mentored the team on live case examples. • We were able to take ownership of the project in a 2 month timeline showing steady progress in efficiency and quality. We were able to improve scores on customer satisfaction surveys as calculated on Salesforce tool.
Clinical Quality Associate
I was offered this role as I was able to demonstrate my ability to interpret complex clinical specifications/requirements and convert them into process parameters.1. Contributed towards certification of our Electronic Health Record product: • Getting our EHR re-certified to latest technical version before the end of calendar year was important to help our clients (physicians) get the benefit of advanced features and reporting capabilities.• I was able to actively participate in this project by creating test cases for new functionalities rolled out by our product development team. Appropriate testing and documentation of results/deviations helped the product team in their sprint progress.• Demonstrated accountability and problem solving skills in this project that contributed towards successful certification as planned.2. Led the "Best Practices" working group•As our team grew, we saw differences in how people document work done, deviations to adherence of protocol and knowledge gaps owing to new learning• I was chosen by stakeholders to form and lead the "Best Practices" working group through which we rolled out various initiatives to overcome above challenges• I took the initiative to create a "Knowledge tracker" to record new learnings, as each team member was exposed to a wide variety of scenarios within the process and arranged for "Did you know" sessions every week to ensure knowledge was shared across the team. Also, created a "Best practice guide" containing validated recommendations for each process step and integrated this document as part of trainings.
Research Analyst
I was promoted this role as part of performance recognition.• Successfully cross-trained a 6 member team for Drug interaction process within the proposed timeline• Collaborated with content managers in Barcelona on expansion of project scope from FDA product labels to various scientific journals and patents• Drafted new process document to include guidelines for extracting drug information from scientific journals• Monitored the quality of work done by the team by auditing random samples on a weekly basis and reported the quality metrics to the manager
Associate Research Analyst
This role was a great learning opportunity, as I was recruited as a part of a "NEW" team within the organisation. With new team comes challenges and opportunities that would shape our professional capabilities. My job was to learn a new database called Content Management System, I was researching FDA/EMEA labels for drug products and retrieved information about "Drug-Drug Interactions" and fed them into the database which in turn enriched our product (Cortellis - a drug information management system). Some of my achievements in this role include:1. Successful creation and update of process manual with illustrative screenshots of the database2. Consistency in deliverable in terms of proficiency and quality, exceeding set targets3. Proactively suggested process improvement ideas and placed requests for new categories on the database. This effort was recognized and the organization honored me with "Above and Beyond" award
