Having obtained a law degree (J.D.) from University of Pennsylvania and lived in the U.S. for 12 years, I am currently a corporate partner at Ashurst Beijing/Hong Kong/Shanghai, also serving as the chief legal representative of Ashurst Beijing.With my leadership & management experience through senior roles at 2 top global law firms and a senior in-house role at a global leading TMT company headquartered in China, I practiced law for nearly 17 years advising both corporate and financial investors, including:o M&A/Investments: complex transactions with deal size of > USD 100 million (seed/minority/VC investments, joint ventures/consortium arrangements, control acquisitions, leveraged buy-out, public take-overs etc.), usually involving multiple jurisdictions (such as Asia, Europe, Americas) for a range of industries (such as infrastructure, energy transition, real estate, TMT, high tech). o Commercial Contracts: ranging from routine ones (NDA, LOI, MoU, term sheet etc.) to those of significance (such as supply/development agreements)o Corporate, Compliance & Others: matters of capital market, corporate governance, supply chain compliance, anti-money laundering/bribery, permits/licenses/approvals/filings, IP, employment, government investigations, litigations, company internal control and policies etc.
