I graduated from the University of California, Riverside, with a major in Biochemistry and an emphasis in Medical sciences. Because there has always been a need to improve human health, I do believe that Biochemistry holds the key in understanding how the human body operates--how biomolecules interact in the living system--for such improvement to be effective. I became passionate about Biochemistry when I learned that the process of life itself is rendered possible because of the harmonious work of proteins within the cell. In fact, any pathogenesis is almost always due to protein dysregulation. In that sense, Biochemistry helps us to better understand the human body at the molecular level and improve metrics of human health. I am looking forward to be part of this ever-expanding body of biochemists.
