I am an Humanitarian professional with over 10 years’ of experiences in field humanitarian operations and development programs in Ethiopia on WASH program . Through academic & life experiences, I specialized in General Public Health Professional. Throughout my experience, I was responsible for leading and management of humanitarian WASH response program implementations in coordination with Nutrition, Health, Education, Protection, Food Security and livelihood sectors. In addition, I have experience of writing concept notes, proposal development, Donor and Government Report preparation, budget preparation & follow up, preparing DIP and project work plan, conducting assessment, activity monitoring & supervision, staff recruitment, leading the team and experience of grant management of international donors such as ECHO, EU, EHF, UNICEF, SIDA, OCHA & USAID etc. I have Master’s Degree in General Public Health & BSc Degree in Environmental Health officer from Haramaya University and I have more than 10 years of professional experience in Rural, urban, IDPs, Refugees and host community settings and I have practical excellent skills and knowledge in implementing and managing all WASH and humanitarian response activity practically. In addition, I got different on Job training that strengthen my technical capacities for better work performance.Currently I am working in Habitat For Humanity as a Project Manager for WASH project and field office manager at Shashemene and before that I was working for Save the children as Regional WASH program coordinator for Oromia. Under this position, I am responsible for coordinating and leading COVID-19 WASH response team, conducting need assessment, supervising WASH program activities. I have been working also for Islamic relief Ethiopia as a National senior emergency WASH officer at Head office and coordinating and managing country humanitarian response program at harerghe and leading and coordinating all humanitarian response activity on the field and experience of participating on different National and Regional Humanitarian and WASH cluster and Task force meeting and I have been working also for Plan-International Ethiopia as Regional Project Coordinator for community lead total sanitation and hygiene program in Oromia program, working also for GOAL Ethiopia as Hygiene promotion Officer in Borena pastoralist program and I have been working also for Government Health Office as Health extension program coordinator and WASH program coordinator in Oromia Region East shoa zone Adea woreda Health Office.
