Group Functions Tech Help Engineer - Level 1
Product Specialist 2
In addition to my prior duties, as a Product Specialist 2 I serve as an escalation point for my peers. I handle training the new hires and watching over their work, giving them guidance as necessary to achieve the company mission. I also continue to attend meetings with other departments as a liaison point for my own. In addition to previous responsibilities, I now assist in shaping strategy on a departmental level by advising my leadership on intra-departmental communications, and how we can best adapt to and serve the goals outlined.Finally, for particularly difficult cases/tickets I assist my colleagues with the finer technical aspects, or work to craft responses to reduce client dissatisfaction as part of my aforementioned role as an escalation point.
Product Specialist 1
The Product Specialist fields questions from IT professionals through email and phone, taking subsequent actions to ensure maximum efficiency and delivery of product applications for each partner. This includes investigating and troubleshooting issues across various mail server protocols, including POP, IMAP, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Using deep knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (e.g. Azure Active Directory, Partner Center, Outlook, and more) I work with IT professionals to execute smooth transfers of data with minimal downtime for end-users. Additionally, I function as a cross-functional expert on all SkyKick products, providing support for Cloud Backup, Cloud Manager, and Security Manager. This can entail simple billing-related questions to extensive technical fixes, as I am greatly empowered to see our Partners to success.Finally, internally I work as a liaison between our frontline Partners and any department that said Partner requires the expertise of. By controlling the flow and tone of communications, I use thoughtfully-worded outbound messaging to ensure that Partners are completely fulfilled and walk away with a positive impression of the company. Working with my peers and filing escalation tickets as necessary internally are the driving force that allows me to ensure that the Partner ask is completed to their satisfaction.
Enumerator (Temporary)
As an Enumerator, it was my responsibility to travel to locations to conduct Census interviews. I interacted with a wide variety of individuals, utilized upsell tactics to encourage completions of the Census, and carefully guarded sensitive PII that I am trusted with. I was encouraged to figure out my own plan for accomplishing the day's tasks, from optimizing travel to adapting to changing situations as I work.
Customer Service Expert (Seasonal)
As a seasonal CSE, my main duties were concerned with providing excellent customer service and enacting successful sales. Utilizing training and suggestive sales techniques, I approached customers and guided them to a solution that fit within their budget, while also upselling additional products to complete their experience. I also worked within Customer Service, where my primary duties were to satisfy customers who were unhappy while minimizing financial impact to the company. Finally, I also worked at the front cashier table, where I interacted with and was the final point of contact for a diverse group of customers.
Service Agent
The Service Agent is responsible for the care and maintenance of the cars on the lot. This includes vacuuming and prepping the cars, shuttling cars to and from car washes and dealerships for servicing, car transports to and from offices, checking fluid levels, changing tires, and duties as assigned by the manager.
Network Consultant
The ResTek Network Consultant is responsible for being a liaison between the various teams within ResTek, and the departments of Western Washington University concerning technical issues. They are expected to be able to excel in groups, as well as function independently without supervision.In addition to that, I performed advanced network troubleshooting such as wireless connectivity, rogue DHCP and AP detection, and network registration errors. I worked with our Telecom department in detecting any wireless deadzones that may appear and work to resolve them. I also provided "Tier 2" technical support, and filled in for ResTek Consultants during periods of high demand.
