As the Vice President of Operations for QCC, I was in charge of maintaining the budget for the club, improving the website, and integrating management and communication tools like Slack into daily operations.

As a Project Lead, I led a team of 4 individuals in a consulting project with an insurance startup. Our team built a survey, conducted market research, and analyzed University of Cincinnati library reports to create a written analysis on chargebacks in the small business industry.

As a Project Analyst, I worked with 4-5 other people on teams that consult with for-profit businesses in the Greater Cincinnati area. I have also participated in numerous training sessions and case studies with other professional consulting firms to learn various data analysis skills and gain professional experience in the field.

Working for one of the fastest-growing startups in the Cincinnati area expanded my view on what I thought business analytics and marketing were previously. During my internship, I built multiple CEO-level dashboards that tracked all sectors of the business and integrated more than 15 data sources utilizing analytics tools like Google Analytics and Google Data Studio. I also frequently conducted market and competitor research to determine use cases for Thangs, a product of Physna. But most of all, I gained an understanding of how a successful startup functions, and how business analytics and marketing play an essential role in the success of any business.

From working in food service, I have learned several important lessons and skills. I have learned how to communicate effectively, both with customers and coworkers, and have learned how to work cohesively in a team setting during frequently stressful situations. I have learned basic financial and accounting skills, having been put in charge of the daily finances for our location, which regularly totaled over $10,000. And most of all, I have gained a wider perspective on other individuals who work retail jobs and how difficult it truly can be at times.

I was the president of a high school investment club of over 50 members and a leadership team of 4 members. I organized several state stock pitch competitions, guest speakers, and financial investing lessons at both high school and middle school levels.

I led a youth-run religious and educational program along with a leadership team of 10 members at a local temple to educate children about Hinduism, Jainism, Indian languages, and principles of religion.
