Yash Mehrotra is a trained and certified Life, Happiness, Life Purpose, Mindfulness and Executive Coach with a wide range of experience of working in both the corporate and social development sector with a career spanning over 22 years. As a Coach and Mentor, Yash draws upon his experiences from varied business sectors (including Education, Sport, Advisory and IT & Communication), interpersonal skills and cultural understanding of having worked with people from and projects around the world.With a keen desire to make a difference, Yash is a Mental Health advocate and a Suicide Gatekeeper who aims to change the narratives around Mental Health. He strongly believes that conversations about Mental Health need to be normalized and made more mainstream rather than be left as ‘hush-hush’ topics which carry a heavy burden of guilt, shame and stigma. As part of the effort to achieve this, he aims to educate and make people more aware on how Mental Health affects them in their day-to-day life whether or not they have a diagnosed Mental Health condition. Additionally, he also strives to end the stigma by focusing on sensitizing people to the issues of Mental Health and the use of appropriate semantics. He is passionate about issues relating to Social Justice and empowerment and has worked towards developing several community engagement programs in rural India centering around Girl Child Education, Mental Health and Wellbeing promotion, Water conservation and Environmental Awareness. He was also instrumental in the setting up of the ‘Atal Tinkering Lab’ in collaboration with Niti Aayog (under the Government of India) in Nawalgarh, Rajasthan - the first in the region, this lab will help develop a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship amongst young minds.Being a qualified ‘Master Trainer’ certified by Dynamic Learning Services (Australia) to deliver programs in various soft skills like Communication, Self-Management, Business Etiquette to name a few, He also has the experience of developing and delivering training programs in both urban and rural settings to help equip young people with soft skills which will hold them in good stead later in their lives. Yash also provides advisory services, primarily in the space of Education and Sport given his wide range of experience and expertise in these domains. His core competency includes market analysis and research skills with an ability to develop new businesses, products and markets keeping in mind the emerging trends.
