Manage a team of 5 voluntary seasonal staff members. As part of the project, I originally consulted and engaged with target audience to identify gaps in service provision across the local authority. Since 2019, Saltley women’s has supported over 200 women, provided paid opportunities for members and volunteers, gained recognition locally and nationally securing partnerships with dettol, the BBC and gymshark. A non-league team was created to play in the West Midlands regional league and a home pitch was secured in Bordesley Green.Delivered project on a weekly basis. Facilitators, structure and content for weekly coaching sessions, consistent with government community and female empowerment guidelines, for group size of 20-25 participants, fortnightly workshops and seminars and empowerment. Roles required data handling through participant registration information, attendance records, recruitment levels, project expenses and budgeting (MS Excel). Source funding and write bid applications. Project managed community events. Developed social media platforms, recruitment and outreach strategies, communications base for 60+ registrants. Within 3 months (April – June), registration levels more than tripled from 12 to 60, find opportunities to motivate and up skill organisation volunteers (away days, staff meals, boosting online platform training).
