Consultancy aiming at developing the University’s relation with the private sector in Egypt with the aim of facilitating student’s entry in the labour force and raising additional funds and resources for the University.

--> Act as a trusted and strategic advisor to the CEO and members of the senior leadership team in all matters relating to positioning and branding the company and work with clients to develop, integrate and report on their ESG performance as they transition to renewable energy.--> Develop the corporate narrative into a strategic plan and roll it out across all communications channels (including website, social media, print and broadcast media, events, marketing material and site visibility material). This involves the management of a small in house team comprised of two administrative staff and a mid level staff and the commissioning/management of a number of external suppliers.--> Lead by example and demonstrate a high level of learning agility, loyalty and confidentiality.

Consultancy aiming at increasing the engagement of the general public and specific stakeholders in policy debates through designing the Project's communications and outreach strategy, overseeing the Project’s public events, social media presence, engagement and campaigns.Principal accountabilities included:• Designing the media and outreach strategy, in particular the social media engagement strategy• Planning and overseeing events, including media events, debates, interviews and public activities around the policies produced• Managing the Project’s social media platforms (website, YouTube channel and Facebook page) and designing the content according to each platform’s specificities • Designing and overseeing the dissemination plan for each of the policies produced taking into consideration the specific stakeholders and the target audience• Writing a synopsis of the policies for media use and the production of videos and podcasts• Making the policies accessible through subcontracting the production of animated videos and media packages about the topic and the recommended reforms

Under the direct supervision of the Regional Director and Deputy Regional Director for the Arab States, duties included:• Provide strategic guidance in areas ranging from communications and advocacy to resource mobilization and innovative partnerships;• Provide technical support in communications and advocacy work including the production of a series of 26 podcasts series and 12 stories for digital use presenting UN Women’s advocacy messages on key issues related to gender equality and women’s empowerment in the Arab States region;• Write press releases, background notes, talking points and speeches in support of Regional Director’s missions in the region;• Write 10 year retrospective document (60 pages including illustrations and references) on the impact of UN Women work in the region;• Identify and approach media companies and other potential partners of high repute from different countries / markets in the Arab States region (including due diligence and risk assessment/risk mitigation plan);• Write end of mission report including strategic recommendations for enhanced communications, advocacy and partnerships in the region.
