Monumental is a ground-up social initiative started by three friends and I through the Youth Action Challenge (YAC), organised by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth and the National Youth Council. We seek to normalise and encourage discussions around mental health as well as promote help-seeking behaviours in youths, leveraging upon an existing group that functions as a source of support and meaning in youths’ lives: religious communities. Instead of creating or training support communities for youths from scratch, Monumental works toward improving the mental health literacy of religious leaders and their ability to identify and appropriately respond to youths in need of mental health support. We recognise that religion is an integral element of Singaporeans' lives, and that religious leaders serve as role models that provide guidance in youths' critical developmental periods.Monumental was the recipient of the YAC Season 4 Outstanding Award and the top grant of $50,000.

• Attached to the psychometric validation unit under the Clinical & Forensic Psychology Service for a research project on Family Violence (FV) and Intimate Partner Violence (IPV).• Assisted with qualitative coding for validating an IPV tool• Part of a taskforce that planned, designed and executed police trainings regarding the rolling out of a FV Emergency Response Team tool

Worked on several Learning and Development as well as Talent initiatives to equip employees with future-ready capabilities and mindsets that support the organisation's strategic plans, establish the talent pipeline, and embed an agile growth culture that delivers results.• Launched and ran the New Singlifer Onboarding (NSO) Journey - a comprehensive onboarding programme for new hires• Built the talent mapping, succession planning, and critical and key role identification processes within the organisation's new Human Resources Information System through UI/UX testing• Rolled out a new Learning Management System to all employees along with Learning and Development courses• Crafted and executed INT-SING (Intern with Singlife) - a structured internship programme• Part of the taskforce developing a new Management Associate Programme• Co-produced and -ran a CliftonStrengths Assessment coaching session for departments residing within Singlife• Planned and ran Singlife's inaugural Learning Week 2022; undertook the role of a moderator on the opening day Culture Champions panel for a discussion on Singlife's ACE-IT values• Engaged and managed many internal and external stakeholders in working on these projects

Involved in two separate studies in the lab, the first on strategic mindset, and the second on emotion reasoning. The former examined how a positive mindset intervention for young children could empower them to apply better strategies for learning and self-control, and the latter examined how children learn about and reason about emotions.Duties included:• Engaging with children aged 4-8 and their parents• Collecting, recording, and coding behavioural data from children in a laboratory setting• Conducting and leading experimental sessions with children• Assisting in research and literature review for scientific papers• Handling administrative, design, and logistical tasks which include setting up experimental equipment, contacting and briefing parents on experimental procedures and addressing their concerns, designing of experimental materials like interactive slides for children, and data entry

• Conducted applied psychological research under the Crime, Investigation and Forensic Psychology (CIFP) branch to deliver a research report exploring the evolving sexual trends, attitudes and behaviours in society with the advancement and proliferation of several increasingly prevalent technological innovations• Research findings were delivered at the annual HTBSC webinar to professionals in the field and stakeholders within the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to support the Home Team’s operations• Undertook the role of logistics I/C for the four-day HTBSC webinar, preparing and coordinating equipment, publications, materials and personnel required for the smooth run of the webinar• Undertook the role of emcee and QnA moderator for the HTBSC webinar

• Achieved rank of 3rd Sergeant in the Air Force's Airfield Damage Recovery Flight• Worked with and maintained aircraft arrestor systems and airfield lighting systems• Worked at Tengah Airbase, Paya Lebar Airbase, and Changi Airbase to support flying operations• Responded to urgent runway equipment repair works and national operational scenarios including National Day, RSAF 50, and the 2018 North Korea–United States Singapore Summit• Trained new personnel on emergency runway response situations and workings of runway equipment• Led teams of 2 to 3 soldiers during maintenance works, delegating duties to meet 100% operation requirements

• Engaged youths and children of varying ages with various risk levels from the community through sports, music programmes, and other platforms• Assisted with casework through leading counselling sessions, doing up case notes, and going on home visits for client welfare assessment• Planned and executed REACH Sports Camp 2016, a 3-day sports camp to inculcate teamwork to over 70 youths and children• Planned and executed various events and programmes like REACH Futsal Tournament, SHINE Festival, StreetWise Programme (SWP), and fundraisers for disadvantaged youths• Coordinated monthly engagement sessions between 20 vendors and organizations related to youths’ and senior citizens’ resources; developed a website compiling important products and information discussed
