As a civil engineer, my life's mission is to build safer and more sustainable communities. I am passionate about ensuring that the buildings where you live and work daily are safe, reliable, and comfortable. My expertise lies in planning, solving complex structural problems, and collaborating with teams to create structures that protect and serve current and future generations.During my studies at BYU-Idaho, I mastered teamwork, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills for complex structural issues. I developed five major reports covering hydrology, wood, concrete, steel, and finite element analysis engineering. My academic achievements include earning a scholarship and excelling in my coursework.Over the past three years, through multiple civil engineering internships, I have developed and mastered the following skills:Wood Design, Reinforced Concrete Design, Hydraulic Engineering, and Transport EngineeringProficient use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArchiCAD, ArcGIS Pro, InfoSWMM, WaterCAD, and BlueBeamProfessional report writing in LaTeX and WordWhile I value the technical skills I've gained, I also recognize the importance of soft skills in structural engineering. Throughout my internships, I learned the significance of being a good teammate and consulting with clients to meet their community needs. These experiences have reinforced my commitment to building a reliable, safe, and sustainable world for us and future generations.
