Abisola Oladeinde popularly known as Yelé is a Nigerian fashion designer based in Baltimore, MD, and is the founder and lead designer of Yele LLC a luxury fashion brand that fuses Afrofuturistic and western fashion. Although she graduated with a BS in Microbiology, she has always had a passion for all things fashion from her teenage years. She is an award-winning fashion designer and has had several publications including features in Essence Magazine and Baltimore style magazine. She hopes to carry anyone willing on a journey with her to buttress the narrative that African Fashion is Luxury Fashion. She has launched five collections in the United States and intends to expand into runway men’s wear in her next fall winter 2023 collection. She is a lover of slow fashion and creates custom pieces from sustainable and great quality fabrics and materials.Yele LLC is also heavily invested in educating aspiring fashion designers, especially those interested in African art as well. We have trained fashion student interns, and taught fashion sewing classes introducing Yoruba art as well as fashion design intricacies to interns and fashion enthusiasts.
