Yele LLC is a for-profit social enterprise based in Baltimore, focusing on preserving and celebrating African culture through Afrofuturistic fashion designs and educational initiatives. We specialize in crafting luxurious, custom-fit garments and accessories that authentically represent the vibrant energy and rich cultural heritage of Africa, enabling our customers to confidently express their individuality.
To date, our impact has been felt in the growing community of over 140 customers and more than 10 fashion interns and students who appreciate our dedication to quality and cultural representation. Our primary market comprises fashion-conscious individuals who value high-quality, unique, and culturally inspired fashion.
Our product line is designed by our founder, Abisola Yelé Oladeinde, a Nigerian born fashion designer who brings her passion for African fashion and a deep connection to her cultural roots to our creations. We have formed valuable partnerships with local artisans, printmakers, and designers, enabling us to source authentic materials and collaborate on innovative designs. We also have partnerships institutions that share our values such as Baltimore City Community College (BCCC) and Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) by mentoring students who have an interest in fashion design.
