Dynamics of complex atoms and molecules in modern light sources• Co-developed software package "XCID" in Fortran, OpenMP and CUDA; this package performs ab-initio simulation of laser-induced many-electron dynamics by going beyond a variational mean-field theory in quantum chemistry• Designed two complementary algorithms based on signal processing/nonlinear regression and iterative matrix diagonalization to retrieve properties of overlapping resonances. Predicted resonance substructures confirmed at an FEL facility• Collaborated with a lab at University of California, Berkeley, USA, and led the interpretation of petahertz spectrogram data• Co-developed software package "XALMO" in Fortran and Python; this package carries out ab-initio simulation of laser-aligned molecules and reconstructs the molecular density using diffractive x-ray imaging• Modeled statistical fluctuations in molecular alignment and showed the connection to high-order quantum coherences• Monitored 1 master and 1 PhD students on software usage and research projects
