- Led large-scale meta-analysis of Genome-wide association study (GWAS) for AMD. Identified two novel loci and confirmed the findings in 10 replication cohorts of more than 60,000 samples.

- Evaluated methods of linkage studies using SNPs and STR markers in the dataset of Genetic Analysis Workshops (GAW14).
- Constructed a MySQL database and web-browser interface for the cell signaling pathways study to integrate experimental data from B-cell ligand screen, yeast two-hybrid and microarray.
