I was a Senior / Principal Civil Engineer since 2011.Currently, I am working as acting Team leader for Asset Management team (20) whose Element work activities under QRSPP ($80-100m) . He managed Element work activites such as E17 resurfacing , E18 pavement rehabilitation ,E19 culverts and bridges,E29 Skid resistance,E27 batter slopes and E7, E23,E24 with grids,signs and linemarkings. The dTims /Scenario computation of pavement rehabilitation works program , approval of HV permits ,flexible pavement design using Circly, and pavement investigation are part of the AM team activities. I had worked in TMR Design team for six (6) years as a Senior RPEQ certifying Civil Engineer for Public services as required by legislation of PE Act 2002,to ensure that public confidence in the standards of Engineering services, provided by me as an RPEQ Engineer, and therefore uphold the high standard of Engineering practice in govt service.Wong has over 23 years' experience as a Professional Civil Engineer overseas in Malaysia,after graduating from Monash U,Melb,in 1986.On joining KBR,he was assigned to the Eos joint venture,working on the PNG LNG project for the design and review of cross drainages along the 20km Kantobo to Gobe road and in the Kopi area,PNG.He has worked on the Darra to Springfield Transport Corridor Phase 1 as part of the Horizon Alliance project. As Senior Civil Engineer he was responsible for the design of barriers and fencing,asset positioning of the ITS and pits along the ramps,take-off quantities for the line markings and signs for the Centenary Motorway,ramps and local roads. He also worked in Bechtel's Caval Ridge mining projects.Mr Wong previous position with EDS Konsultant Sdn Bhd as Senior Civil Engineer/Office Manager was involved in the design and supervision of roads,bridges,water and waste water projects.One notable project was the RM 245 million,two- lane,36 km Pakan feeder Road (R3) for which he led the feasibilty,conceptual and detailed design of the road(included 12 RC bridges) using MX roads program .Mr Wong was also the Lead Engineer/ Project Supervisor in the RM 100 million Pasir Puteh pig farming project in Malaysia.
