Cyber Security Analyst
Current• Identifying and analysing cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to the organization's network, systems, and data.• Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and controls to protect against cyber threats.• Monitoring and analysing security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents.• Conducting penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.• Collaborating with other teams such as IT, Network Operations, and Compliance to ensure that security controls are implemented and maintained.• Documenting and reporting on security incidents, including incident response plans, forensic analysis and incident reporting.• Keeping abreast of the latest security threats and trends and providing recommendations for security improvements.• Participating in incident response and disaster recovery planning and testing.• Providing guidance and training to employees on security best practices and procedures.• Supporting regulatory compliance efforts such as SOC 2, PCI DSS, and NIST 800-53.• Developing and maintaining security documentation, such as security plans, risk assessments, and incident response plans.• Providing security oversight for external vendors and partners.• Researching and evaluating new security technologies and solutions to improve the company's security posture.• Collaborating with other security professionals to share information and best practices.• Participating in industry groups and forums to stay current on the latest security trends and threats.• Managing and reporting on compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.• Developing and maintaining incident response plans and procedures and participating in incident response efforts.• Providing guidance and support to other teams and departments in identifying and mitigating security risks.
