The Union Pearson Express began operating on June 6, 2015 connecting Toronto Union Station and Lester B. Pearson International Airport.Estimated staff and schedule required to provide full guest services, utilising estimated ridership data, flight traffic data, and rail operating schedule.Estimated quantities of materials along corridor for maintenance purposes and greenhouse gas emissions based on operating schedule and vehicle performance.Planned service contingency and recovery in the event of delays or significant impacts to transit service and interface with guest communications.Researched alternate railcar propulsion systems, greenhouse gas emissions (tiers) and their presence in the railroading industry; in particular the North American rail industry.Modelled potential conflicts between UP Express, GO Transit, VIA Rail and freight railroads within the Union Station Rail Corridor.Produced the model of the UP Express rolling stock as a souvenir.Created simple and concise graphics and presentations for broader audiences from highly technical information.
