As a Senior Principal and owner of Hickok Cole, an award-winning commercial architecture and interiors firm located in Washington, DC, I have over three decades of experience in base building and interior design in a variety of project types. From large-scale, mixed-use developments to small commercial interiors, my design work has taken me around the globe. Having resided in the US capital for over 25 years, I'm honored to have been recognized for my leadership in the region’s business community and for my work on many projects in the commercial/corporate, government, and institutional markets.I am past Chair of ULI Washington and currently Chair of the Governance Committee and a member of the ULIW Housing Initiative Council. I have spent many of my ULI years on housing policy, having spear-headed the 2019 Housing Attainability Study and the 2015 and 2018 research on Millennials Inside the Beltway. I continue to follow my passion to improve the entitlement and community engagement processes in the region and to explore new housing prototypes through our firm.In addition to my leadership in the real estate and design professions, I am a founding board member of the DC Concert Orchestra Society and serve as the orchestra’s Chair of Development and Principal Flutist.
