Facilitate project scope, goals, tasks, quality assurance, timelines, and resource requirements. Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones. Manage the Life & Annuity Program to ensure the industry needs are met and that the program is in compliance with the ACORD Standards process. This consist of management of multiple working groups in order to get the requirements of members (while achieving industry consensus) and assist submitters with creating a formal planned, staffed and funded project proposal, including but not limited to maintenance requests and working group proposals. This includes proactively maintaining meeting events, agendas, minutes, issues logs, completion of Maintenance Request’s and all other necessary activities to successfully fulfill the mandate of the group leveraging volunteers from the working group. Collaborate with other associations as needed to address industry initiatives.

Participated in various industry initiatives that involved the implementation of EDI & the facilitation of Straight Thru Processing. Coordinated industry activities with appropriate business areas and IT to obtain appropriate resources. Collaborated with management to aid in strategic planning efforts and implement industry initiatives within the organization.

Responsible for the integration of business plans and needs into a probable IT solution. Served as a key IT contact for a specific business area and provided a lead role for managing critical vendor activities.

Worked as a BPC in the Annuity Information Systems area where I lead and or participated in process development projects for Electronic Data Interfaces. Also provided support services for existing EDI internal and external customers as well as troubleshoot system rescue situations.
