I purchased my first home in 2011 after an extensive self-guided search, and realized then that I had been selling the wrong thing! After moving from Miami to Oregon to bring my kids closer to my husband’s family, I fell in love with Portland and its neighborhoods and became a real estate agent to realize my true passion for matching people to their perfect homes, and founded Yomari Loves Houses. The Portland Real Estate market is booming and changing constantly. I am devoted to my job, and enjoy guiding first time home buyers as well as home buying veterans. I have become The PDX House Fairy. I grew up in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, which is my first spoken and written language. Aside from obsessively browsing the MLS and studying market conditions and trends, I also host Latin dinner pop­-ups in my home in Montavilla, having amassed a devoted following for my take on the Puerto Rican staple Lechon (roasted pork with crackling skin). In my spare time I love to listen to true crime podcasts, climb rocks, hike with my dogs, read historical fiction, plant new flowers in my garden, and spend time with my kids, husband and too many pets in the paradise that is the Pacific Northwest.
