About Mike Young

As President of two market disrupter and technology change agent companies, I have hands-on experience with 100+ client implementations of real-time systems and enterprise integrations to improve quality and productivity. Ask me about work with GE, Lockheed Martin, Abbott Labs, Dell, Honda America and others. I am an expert at applying prevention-oriented systems that maximize efficiency. I have worked in two high-profile manufacturing startups, Datapoint Corporation and Compaq Computer Corporation in Houston. I was Director of Product Integrity, Director of Materials and Director of Manufacturing Operations at Compaq when it was the fastest growing company ever seen up to that time. I have helped four companies break through the growth barriers of $100 & $250M.Before Compaq, I had the privilege of being the Vice President in the Creative Services Division for Philip Crosby, noted author and Quality guru. I was an author and trainer on the team that developed the Quality Education System (QES), which is still being used throughout the world to teach executives the principles of Total Quality Management.
