Young Park is the Founder and President of Park One Development.He began his career in real estate as a Project Manager for a Southern California based retail developer. In this capacity he led teams comprised of architects, engineers, contractors, and various consultants. This included working with tenants and project consultants throughout the entire development process including design, entitlement, construction, and tenant delivery. Mr. Park was then promoted to Partner and focused on site identification, qualification, acquisition, marketing, financial analysis, and lease negotiations. He managed key relationships with tenants, brokers, property owners, and city officials to ensure specific and strategic goals were achieved. Mr. Park also held the role of Chief Operating Officer and was responsible for the daily management and operations of the company in addition to playing a key role in strategic planning initiatives. Mr. Park has actively been involved in the successful development of over 1,000,000 square feet of properties ranging in size from approximately 10,000 sf to 10 acres. Mr. Park previously served as a District Manager for Blockbuster Inc. and was responsible for one of the largest districts in the Western Region overseeing the operations of stores in the Northern California market. A Veteran of the United States Armed Forces, he served with distinction in the United States Marine Corps for almost a decade. During his time on active duty Captain Park had the honor of serving as an Intelligence Officer, Operations Officer, and commanded at the Platoon and Company levels. Mr. Park holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Pepperdine University and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from National University. Mr. Park is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives (ACRE).
