During my time as a civil engineering student, I have been actively involved in study association ConcepT. I have been part of several committees, among which in the Advisory Board.

In 2019, I have been part of the full-time board of ConcepT, the study association representing all students in civil engineering of the University of Twente. These are the BSc Civil Engineering and the MSc programmes Civil Engineering and Management (CEM) and Construction Management and Engineering (CME). In the board, I fulfilled the role of Officer of Educational Affairs.

Student Assistant affiliated with several research projects, i.e. on innovative procurement for Rijkswaterstaat, on achieving public participation in urban climate adaptation projects, and setting up a UT-wide Drought Resilience Programme. Most notably, I was part of the FiDETT-project on the energy transition from its very beginning and helped in building it for some 2.5 years (see FiDETT.com).Furthermore, for several years I have been the coordinator of the Quality Assurance studentteam, amongst others responsible for the educational evaluations and aiding in the development and audit of education within the civil engineering programmes.Aditionally, I'm involved in creating, setting up, and assessing coursework for both the Bachelor as well as in the Master.

The University Committee on Education (UC-Ow) is the highest advisory body on education at the University of Twente. Lead by the Rector and consisting of each faculty's vice-Dean of Education and two student members, the UC-Ow advises the UT's Executive Board on and/or align the to-be-set-out lines on educational policy. This includes policy on how to deal with the Covid-19 situation.
