Responsible for development, implementation, and management of animal husbandry to large danio rerio (zebrafish) and axolotl colonies. Managed and trained new personnel on animal care for fish, reptiles, and amphibians used for research. Acquired supplies and reagents required for system maintenance and research. Provided other animal care duties for institutional wide animals such as pouring agarose plates and making fly food, and understanding and fixing core facility systems. Additional animal husbandry to axolotl, toads, xenopus, dogfish, turtles, bullfrogs, and killifish used for educational courses and research. Poured agar plates for three independent c. elegans labs and made food for Drosophila.
