Taught "Managerial Economics" with the "flipped-classroom" pedagogy to lead the class of 80 undergraduate students at the business school. Taught courses "Intermediate Microeconomics", "Introduction to Microeconomics" and "Introduction to Macroeconomics" of around 50 undergraduate students each quarter at the University of Washington. Designing the course, giving lectures and preparing exams.

Evaluating the impact of the Community Infrastructure Upgrading Programme, financed by the World Bank with the aim of improving the lives of slum dwellers in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

Constructed a vulnerability index for slum communities in India.

Established a Microsoft Access database to consolidate all the data in their microfinance department during the past eight years, created user-friendly features according to their needs and taught them how to use and maintain the database. Wrote evaluation reports, in both English and Chinese, which helped the NGO present its work and successfully acquire twice the previous year's funding from their primary funder for 2012.

Taiwan Financial Supervisory Commission is the financial regulatory body in Taiwan. Wrote weekly reports, presented to the Chairman for policy suggestions, on current economic situation and the latest nancial regulation in the US. Provided quarterly reports on the Taiwanese economy to US regulators and investors.

Helped Professor Dean Karlan with data work. Assisted then Ph.D. candidate Shing-Yi Wang in her project about Chinese economic development. During this process, collected related literature and translated survey questions for accuracy conveyance. Served as the interpreter on her research trip to Shanghai and Beijing.
