  Working as a research assistant at Yakushima Sea Trutle Center. Duties were:-Monitored remote beach for sea turtles each night, capturing data on turtles that included individual identification, body size measurement, tagging (microchip, flipper tag). Tracked the directional trace on land, recorded nest location, translocation of eggs, rescued trapped sea turtles, recorded landscape change, and measured sea water temperature.Assisted the resource center front desk during the daytime.-Utilized maintenance measurement tools, and preparation of other gears (tagging tools, making note cards to put into the nest with egg, microchip readers).-Made additional hard copies of recorded data for filing and archiving.-Assisted in cleaning of housing and resource center.-Resided with other crew members in dormitory units for extent of work period.
