-Designed a semi-structured questionnaire on Maasai livelihoods and perceptions of African wild dogs (Lycaon pictus) based on informational interviews with Maasai herders, rangers, farmers, and wildlife biologists-Coordinated with 20 survey enumerators to collect 500 individual interviews to study the community perceptions of African wild dogs among the Maasai herders-Developed an education module on the species and taught at 2 local schools, impacting 60+ students-Used R and Excel to extract and analyze data, coded open-ended responses to conduct qualitative analysis, and used multivariate regression to explore correlations between people’s perceptions and socioeconomic factors, providing baseline data on social science studies of the African wild dogs in this region
