I became a Nurse Practitioner because I wanted to do more than just help people. My mission in life is to provide quality care for anyone I meet. I am seeking employment as a Nurse Practitioner in outpatient and inpatient settings. I have over 20 years of robust nursing background and more than seven years of nurse practitioner experience. The skills I have acquired during my career are extremely instrumental in providing excellent quality patient care. Since receiving my Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing from Tel-Aviv University in Israel, I acquired nursing clinical experience in medical and surgical care of adults and children in inpatient and outpatient settings. Working for INOVA Fairfax Hospital, a designated Magnet hospital, has installed in me the importance of excellent patient care using evidence-based practices. In the most recent years of my career, I have concentrated on taking care of bariatric patients with multiple comorbidities. My role is not only to coordinate their care but also to provide it before and after surgical procedures. I am involved in direct patient care as a nurse practitioner in collaboration with surgeons to provide appropriate direct care interventions, consult with internal and external staff to make appropriate referrals, conduct patient follow-up and outreach, counsel patients and their families, develop and manage projects designed to increase efficiency and improve patient care results. In addition, I serve as the Bariatric Program Coordinator assisting in the center development.Having worked in the metropolitan Washington DC area, I have thrived in diverse settings. I work well in fast-paced environments and adapt easily to change. My experiences have allowed me to develop high-quality assessments and plans of care for various patient populations. Additionally, I am fluent in Russian and Hebrew, which is a great asset to possess in this multicultural demographic. I have an excellent work ethic; I am motivated, creative, and energetic. I have over 1000 hours of clinical experience as Nurse Practitioner Student and I maintain a full-time position as NP since my graduation in 2013.
