- Examined the circuit-level causes of neurological disorders characterized by disregulated motor functions- Applied a robust anterograde biomarker and confocal microscopy to map out the corticospinal fibers in 1500+ mice specimens, heightening the precision and reliability of data - Spearheaded the collection, analysis, and visualization of 1200+ data entries using Excel, R, and the ImageJ software, which were incorporated into a pending publication- Presented findings at the summer convention with 250+ attendees, incl. - Selected to be on the Behavioral Evolution track with a PhD candidate from The Rockefeller University under the Ruta Lab- Independently examined the impact of disrupted circadian rhythms on youth development, fertility, and courtship behavior using Drosophila melanogaster- Engaged in weekly scientific seminars hosted by renowned scientists to learn about the importance of reiteration and citizenship in scientific research

- Selected as one of the 16 scholars after a written application and an interview- Studied the functional structure of ants’ olfactory system and antennas lobe to build an educational foundation for the program- Analyzed scientific literature pertaining to the manipulation of Orco protein gene in ants published by scientists at The Rockefeller University- Utilized imaging software ImageJ to analyze and plot the experimental data on ants’ neural reactivity to different odors- Collectively designed and presented a group experimental project on different turtle ants species’ behavioral adaption to habitat swapping
