• Led and managed a team focusing on “on-DNA” chemistry development, library design and synthesis; • Led hit-to-lead and lead optimization of projects in different therapeutic areas. Delivered two pre-candidates and one clinical candidate; Delivered one lead compound which was licensed out. • Managed CRO FTEs to support chemistry needs in DEL team, including synthesis of DEL hits.

Key developer for the DNA-encoded library technology in DEL library, selection data analysis, and hit confirmation. Contributed to the acquisition of Praecis by GSK from below two parts of work. • Developed new on-DNA chemistries such as C-C coupling and heterocyclic ring formations, which demonstrated that DEL libraries could have diversity of drug-like molecules for drug discovery. • Led 2 out of 4 campaigns that were under the collaborations with GSK and delivered potent novel hits for both targets.
