As CEO, I provide leadership to a cross border agri business that is vertically integrated and works along the entire supply chain in Haiti and the US to create natural hair, skin, and body products for those with dry hair, dry skin, and curly hair. Partners include Ulta, QVC, Goop, Whole Foods Market, Sephora, JCPENNY, the Clinton Foundation, Yunus Social Business, KIVA, and the people of Haiti. Our signature product is Haitian black castor oil, a century old wonder cure sustainably harvested by 300+ farmers, produced by over 50+ women, and exported to the US, Canada, and Europe. Other key ingredients also include Haitian Moringa and Haitian Vetiver.

Provide creative leadership in planning, directing and supporting alumni programs for Cornells 30,000+ diversity alumni with the goal of expanding the number of diverse alumni in leadership and engaged with overall University. Develop a strategic plan for the Diversity Alumni Programs to work with the overall university, work closely with college and unit development Directors and staff. Provide staff leadership and support for the MOSAIC Committee; alumni groups, and provide reports to the Board of Trustees. Identify, recruit, train and support alumni volunteers. Establish a diversity alumni speakers bureau.

Conceptualized framework for Haitian Professionals of Philadelphia and serve as founding Board Chair. Provide leadership and support for 5+ committees working to strengthen the Haitian/Haitian-American community. Organize and oversee city wide relief efforts with the Mayor’s Office, Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus, State Senators and the Haitian Community which raised a base of $100,000 for the Haiti Earthquake Relief and Rebuilding Fund, organize a medical relief team that treated over 400 patients, and deliver 7,000lbs.of supplies within a week and a half of earthquake in conjunction with HPP Board members.

Responsible for the initiation, planning, and execution of programs, activities and communications designed to cultivate, engage, and steward Penn alumni donors and volunteers. Planned over 15 reunions including six-mile stone reunions. Work closely with The Penn Fund to steward alumni donors and identify prospect donors. Oversee and manage $200,000 program and reunion budgets. First in department to successfully work and plan reunions with young, core, and old guard alumni. First staff member to create a comprehensive staff & volunteer reunion-planning manual. Create volunteer management plans for active volunteers and donors. Created innovative programs such as Quaker Exchange: The Premier Speed Mentoring Program at Penn and re-designed Penn Cares to connect alumni volunteers who identify with Penn by affinity or region. Serve as project manager and lead staff member for high-level cultivation and training events such as the Penn Reunion Leadership Conference and The Fall Alumni Committee Training Session. Facilitate the writing, editing, proofreading, production, and mailing of class communications (newsletters, notices, invitations, websites, etc.). Reduced departmental marketing budget by 40% through negotiations with vendors. Maintain liaison with University departments and build internal relationships to further facilitate and generate general programming for Homecoming and Alumni Weekend. Assist Director in organizing, motivating, training, and supporting staff. Directed the College House Alumni Ambassador (CHAA) initiative, which focuses on early engagement of future alumni and creates meaningful interactions between students and alumni. Re-developed program and was the first Program Director to have 100% participation from all College House Deans. First in department to recruit and retain140 student's in program. Work with Classes & Reunions and the Penn Fund to devise a strategic plan to diversify leadership pipeline.

May 2010, became the first Haitian-American elected to the Democratic State Committee from Philadelphia in a landslide victory. In this capacity, I am charged with supporting the Democratic Party of Pennsylvania’s most important mission — getting more highly-qualified Democrats elected to public office at the federal, state, and local levels. Represent all registered Democrats at both county and district meetings of the Democratic Party of Pennsylvania as a voting member of official party business for the seventh senatorial district.

Direct all fundraising activities and secure $45,000.00 through in person and corporate gifts from January 04- April 04. Support funds via grant writing and fundraising events. Create and approve all marketing materials, correspondence, and proposals. Develop training materials for volunteer solicitors and public relations department. Edit monthly newsletter. Create stewardship and alumni program. Design membership recruitment process. Recruit key advisory and honorary board members. Oversee and chair all aspects of annual convention, which brings over 1,000 attendees. Design and oversee all changes to policy and procedure manuals. Provide monthly reports as well as strategic outlook to Board of Directors. Coordinate, recruit, and provide infrastructure to 25 board members. Develop, implement, and oversee all aspects of a Scholarship, Big Brother Big Sister, Peer-to-Peer tutoring, and Literacy program.

Raised $189,000 within first two months. Raised a total of $300,000 within a 6-month period.Research, write, and furnish timely and accurate reporting on grants, including but not limited to governmental and private sources. This activity included compiling statistics and monitoring service activities. Create a master calendar of all grant report due dates and keep Directors up to date on specific statistics needed for reports. Serve as liaison between ACSNJ's finance department, President/CEO and reporting departments for all county, state, federal, and other funding sources. Act as consultant for all Directors and Coordinators to insure that proper methods of reporting are being followed. Generate Title I AND II reports and narratives for the New Jersey Department of Health. Identify possible sources of funding with a concentration on unrestricted funds. Wrote 70 grants at the end of the fiscal year. Manage interns and volunteers.

Provided classes in entrepreneurship for student's k-12 in schools throughout Philadelphia.Created curriculum and lead students through the process of fundraising, planning, marketing, and running small business ventures. Taught over 50 classes and worked with over 100 students.

The first staff member to raise an additional $40,000.00 for the organization. Co-founded the New Jersey Haitian Student Association (NJHSA) and trained students to be NJIPN ambassadors. Created the first fundraising call program run by NJHSA. Developed accurate data collection and generated monthly reports for the State of NJ. Prepared and monitored a $96,000.00 program budget and supported funds via grant writing. Responsible for all aspects of outreach, marketing, as well as individual and corporate gifts. Recruited 50 organizations to partner with program in four months. Increased Haiti Outreach hotline calls by 90% in six months. Increased attendance at program events by 50% in six months. First staff person to increase visibility of organization by securing media coverage for Haitian Outreach Program. Expanded program from a one-person operation to one with 20 volunteers and 3 interns. Designed, taught, and coordinated over 100 empowerment programs statewide for the Haitian Outreach Program. Created recruitment policy and trained volunteers and interns.
