I have a passion for helping mental health therapists start a profitable private practice. Back in 2018, I took the leap and started my own therapy practice, but I'll be honest – I had no idea what I was doing at first. It was a scary experience, filled with uncertainty and a lot of trial and error.I turned to books, articles, social media groups, and podcasts, soaking up as much knowledge as I could to navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship.Once I got my practice to a certain point, I became more confident in myself as a business owner. By 2021, I built a thriving group practice and even had the time and bandwidth to enroll in a doctorate program in leadership for mental health organizations. I had many therapists friends and colleagues keep asking me how I got started and even expanded my practice, so I created my second business Boss Clinician, to teach mental health therapists how to start and scale their own private practice step-by-step. I understand firsthand the challenges that come with making this transition – the uncertainty, the fear of the unknown, and the overwhelm of managing both clinical work and business responsibilities. My mission is to make this transition smoother for others by sharing the insights and strategies I've learned along the way.By working together, we can turn your vision of a profitable private practice into a reality, all while ensuring that your passion for helping others remains at the forefront of your business endeavors. Let's get started on this journey together and create a future where you not only succeed but thrive in your role as a mental health entrepreneur.
