My fluency in Korean, Mandarin and Cantonese made me an effective communicator at my job as an operations executive. I work cross-functionally with content partners and marketing, sales, operations and product teams from across the Pan-Asia region to co-ordinate the regional launch of new contents and partnerships including the content providers like Discovery, Mediacorp and Huace. I ensure a smooth delivery of all incoming materials and conduct regional briefings to align all markets on our regional launches.For content curation, I design banners and thumbnails to curate what users see on Viu’s homepage daily. I manage the content management system and tap on current trends to localise homepage and enhance UI appeal. I also develop the programming and editorial calendar for Viu Singapore, and pitch sales and marketing angles on Viu’s upcoming programmes to the team monthly. I provide operation support for the local team by troubleshooting technical difficulties and rolling out various sponsorship activities for the local sales team onto platform’s homepage. Content acquisition should always be data driven. Hence, I monitor closely and evaluate our content library's performances to identify what works or not - insights which will determine the region's acquisition trajectory. For this, I work closely with our data analysts on a regular basis to build reports on viewership and keyword search trends.
